Duo arrested for burglary

Rocklin Police arrested two men who allegedly burglarized establishments throughout the Rocklin and Roseville areas.

Wednesday, Rocklin Police received a call regarding a burglary at the West Marine retail store on Granite Drive. According to the release, two males entered the store, gathered items from the shelves and fled the store without paying. The store employee told police the two fled in a gold Ford F-250 truck.

The truck was spotted by a Rocklin patrol officer as it drove southbound on Pacific Street near Sunset Boulevard. Officers recovered the stolen merchandise and several other items that appeared to have been stolen from other retail establishments throughout the Rocklin and Roseville areas.

Pavel Ustimchuk, 25, of Rio Linda and Igor Svinukhov, 25, of Florida, were arrested for burglary, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property.

Both were booked into Placer County Jail and have been released on bail.
