Brad McElvain, a 2007 graduate of Placer High School, recently completed his freshman year at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. His first year in college included being on honor roll his fall semester and being named to the Deans list in the spring. He also was honored as the #1 freshman cadet (out of 95 cadets) in the school’s US Air Force ROTC unit, and finished his year in the top 10% of all cadets in the university’s AFROTC detachment (260 cadets). Brad has been assigned to work three weeks this summer at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Texas as part of his Air Force ROTC officer training.
