“Hot Chili and Cool Cars” Offers Sizzling Deals for Sponsors
Hot Chili and Cool Cars draws in thousands of visitors every year to check out delicious chili and classic cars.

The Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the area’s hottest street faire, “Hot Chili and Cool Cars,” by offering businesses the privilege to become a sponsor of the event. A multitude of sponsorship opportunities are available to businesses with all types of budgets and marketing plans.

The event occurs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, rain or shine. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the annual celebration where automotive enthusiasts and chili lovers come together to enjoy a day of entertainment, activities and fun for the entire family. “Hot Chili and Cool Cars” is a crowd pleaser and combines the ever-popular classic car show with distinctive chili tasting, spirited, live entertainment and fun kids’ activities.

Leading the way with their support of this year’s event are returning title sponsors Five Star Auto Care and RC Willey. For others interested in getting involved, sponsorship packages are available, ranging from $500 to $3,500. Sponsors have the chance to expose thousands of Northern California residents to their businesses and can sponsor everything from the main stage, “Chili Alley,” classic car goodie bags, the performance square or the trophies. The sponsorship opportunities are limited and sell out fast, so interested businesses or individuals are encouraged to sign up soon. Business and chili booths are also available for purchase and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

“Hot Chili and Cool Cars is a great way for businesses to reach thousands of people in the Northern California area with their message,” said Amber Tillery, owner of Tillery Family Insurance and the chair of this year’s event. “It provides sponsors with a captive audience and an opportunity to show their support of a local community event.”

The classic car contest will feature some of the area’s most popular automotive beauties, and enthusiastic chili cooks will vie for the chance to be crowned champion of the chili cook-off. The kids’ area will boast a bounce house, face painting, games and crafts to entertain the younger crowd.

There are many opportunities for involvement, from sponsorships and vendor booths to cooking chili and volunteering at the event. For more information on how to volunteer or participate, contact the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce at (916) 624-2548 or visit www.rocklinchamber.com.
