Lieutant Sara Pope M.D. US Navy on Humantiarian Medical Deployment
Dr. Sara Maragret Pope from Auburn, CA is a medical doctor on board the USNS Mercy Naval Hospital Ship. Sara is a graduate of Del Oro High School and her mother and siblings have lived in Auburn for 27 years.
Lieutenant Pope is completing her residency at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. We are proud to know that she is serving her country. God Bless all the military.

As Sara's mother, I am very proud of my daughter! We pray everyday for the safety of the Military. Sara was raised in Auburn, graduated from Del Oro HS; graduted from Northern Arizona University; graduated from the University of Vermont, College of Medicine in 2007. Sara was a cross country runner all four years of high school and college. Sara continues to compete in marathons whenever possible.
