Dave Russell, one of California’s hottest country vocalists, will headline the main stage at the 15th annual "Hot Chili & Cool Cars" street faire, where thousands of automotive enthusiasts and chili lovers from all over Northern California come together to enjoy a day of entertainment, activities and fun for the entire family.

Russell recently signed with Jerry Cupit, the award-winning writer, publisher, producer and record label president of Cupit Music, to produce Russell’s next recording project.

Russell has performed sold-out shows in Sacramento, Nashville, San Antonio, Reno and Lake Tahoe.

"We're thrilled to have Dave Russell entertain the huge crowd that comes out to Hot Chili & Cool Cars," said Amber Tillery, chair of the event and owner of Tillery Family Insurance. "His performance will definitely help make this year's event bigger and better than ever."

The event is Sept. 20 and is hosted by the Rocklin Area of Chamber of Commerce.

Sponsored by Five Star Auto Care and RC Willey, “Hot Chili & Cool Cars” will take place on Pacific Street between Rocklin Road and Midas Avenue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Besides Russell’s performance throughout the day, attendees will also be able to enjoy food, crafts and business booths lining the streets.

The classic car contest will feature some of the area’s most popular automotive beauties, including those in the competition’s newest category – Best Foreign Car. Enthusiastic chili cooks will vie for the chance to be crowned champion of the chili cook-off. There will also be activities for the kids, such as a bounce house, face painting and games.

Admission to the event is free and a portion of the proceeds will go to the volunteer police officers of Rocklin.
